Building for the long run. By people who still stand behind it in twenty years.
SS American Global Services LLC — SSA to almost everyone — is a construction company working out of Floral City, Florida. We pour the foundations, frame the building, fix the roof when it leaks, and own a few of the buildings ourselves.
About SSA
One company, four divisions, one number that matters.
We started in Floral City in 1998 with two trucks and a framing crew. The work grew, then the region grew, and somewhere along the way we stopped being a subcontractor and started signing for whole buildings.
What we did not change is the part that made the first jobs work: the person who promises the schedule is the person on the site. Our project managers keep their boots in a truck. Our owners still walk jobs. When something goes sideways at four in the afternoon, the decision gets made that afternoon.
SS American Global Services runs four operating divisions — general contracting, building services, site and civil works, and project development — plus a property arm that owns and leases buildings around Citrus County. Because those sit together, a client can buy an entire project from us and hold exactly one contract.
We self-perform more of the work than most contractors our size. That is a deliberate choice. It costs us more in equipment and payroll and it buys us schedule certainty, which is the only thing a client really wants when they are paying interest on a construction loan.

Let the record speak.
Our services
Four divisions, one accountable team.
Most clients arrive with one job and stay for three. That is not a sales strategy — it is what happens when the people who dug the hole are the people who framed the building and the people who come back to fix the door that sticks.
Every project gets a named lead who stays with it from bid to closeout.
Service 01
General contracting
We take on whole buildings — schools, clinics, distribution centers, apartment blocks, industrial shells — as a single contract with a single point of responsibility. Design-build or hard bid, we self-perform the concrete, framing and finish carpentry rather than brokering it out, which is why our schedules hold when the trade market gets tight.
- Design-build delivery
- Competitive hard-bid work
- Construction management at risk
- Self-performed concrete and framing
- Industrial and warehouse shells
- Tenant improvement and fit-out

Service 02
Building services
The small jobs that most contractors won't return a call about. A crew of roughly ninety carpenters, roofers and finishers handling repairs, renovations and service calls for both homeowners and facility managers — with a dispatcher who actually answers the phone and a fixed hourly rate published up front.
- Repairs and remedial work
- Kitchen and bath renovations
- Roofing and envelope repair
- Insurance and storm restoration
- Facility service agreements
- Emergency call-out, 24/7

Service 03
Site & civil works
Everything below the slab and outside the walls. Our civil division runs its own fleet — excavators, dozers, graders, haul trucks — so we are not waiting on a rental yard when the weather window opens. From clearing and mass excavation through utilities, paving and final landscaping.
- Clearing and mass excavation
- Demolition and abatement support
- Foundations and deep footings
- Storm, water and sewer utilities
- Asphalt paving and concrete flatwork
- Grading, seeding and landscape

Service 04
Project development
Sometimes the building a client needs doesn't have a site yet. Our development team assembles land, runs entitlement and zoning, models the pro forma and carries the project to a financeable package — then hands it to a construction team that has been in the room since the feasibility study.
- Site search and land assembly
- Zoning and entitlement
- Feasibility and pro forma modeling
- Public-private partnerships
- Owner's representation
- Build-to-suit development

Careers
We build people.
When you shut the truck door at the end of the day, did you make something? That is a real question, and most jobs cannot answer it. Ours can. You can drive your kids past a building and tell them you put the roof on it.
About 70% of our superintendents started here as apprentices or craft labor. We pay for licenses and certifications, we move people between divisions so they learn the whole business, and we promote on competence rather than on how long someone has been waiting. If you want a trade to turn into a career, there is a path here.
