Service 01

General contracting

Whole buildings under a single contract, with our own crews on the critical path.

We sign for the finished building — not for a scope of work that leaves the hardest coordination sitting with the owner.

SSA runs commercial, institutional, multifamily and light industrial projects from roughly $2M to $80M. We work design-build, competitive hard bid and construction management at risk, and we are comfortable being brought in during schematic design or after the drawings are already stamped.

The thing that separates us from most contractors at this size is that we self-perform. Concrete, structural framing and finish carpentry are done by SSA crews on SSA payroll. When the trade market tightens and a framing sub goes three weeks late on someone else's job, that is not a phone call we have to make.

Every project gets a superintendent who is on site daily and a project manager who is not running six other jobs. You will meet both before you sign anything. The schedule is published weekly and includes the parts that slipped, because a schedule that only shows good news is not a schedule.

How it works

What you can expect from us.

01

Preconstruction that is real

An estimator and a superintendent walk the site together before a number is produced. Budgets come line-itemed with our fee shown separately.

02

A named team, up front

You meet the superintendent and the project manager during the interview, not at the kickoff meeting. They stay on the job through closeout.

03

Weekly, honest reporting

A live three-week look-ahead, a cost report, and an RFI log you can see. If something slipped, it is on the report that week.
